- In a pan add mix daal(any of choice), rinse once in running water, and add water and salt, soak for 30mins. Keep it to boil on medium flame until 80-90% cooked. Do not cook completely..
- Take a bowl, strain the water and don't throw away the water. We'll need it later. Keep strained dal in a large bowl..
- Keep all your ingredients ready, mix all the spices in a bowl and keep the water to summer on low flame to steam the kebabs..
- In a large bowl add boiled dal..
- Add gram flour(Besan) and mix well..
- Add ginger, garlic, chilli paste and mix well..
- Add chopped onions and spring onions. Mix well..
