- You need 1/2 cup of tomato (chopped).

- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.

- Prepare 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- It's 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- It's 2-4 of black pepper corn.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- It's 2-4 of garlic cloves.
- Prepare 2 tsp of curry leaves.
- You need to taste of Salt.

- In a pan add water, chopped tomato, chopped onion, few coriander stems, few curry leaves, haldi powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tamarind pulp and salt..
- Cover and boiled for 30 minutes..
- For tempering : Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot...........add 1 dry red chilli, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and few curry leaves. Let it crackle for few minutes..
- Pour the tempering on the rasam. Then add crushed masala few cumin seeds, black pepper corn and few garlic cloves. Don't boil it. At last add 1/2 tsp sugar. If you add sugar the taste will be awosome. Once it is done..
- Transfer to a bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Ready to serve..............hot...........rasam with hot.................steam rice..................
