Ingredients of Veg Shammi Kebabs

  1. You need 1 Cup of black Chana.
  2. It's 1/4 cup of Chana Dal.
  3. It's 1 of onion.
  4. Prepare 4 (5 cloves) of garlic.
  5. You need 1/2" of ginger.
  6. It's 1 teaspoon of tandoori Masala.
  7. It's 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala.
  8. It's 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder.
  9. You need 1 teaspoon of bhuna jeera powder.
  10. It's to salt of Salt.
  11. It's as needed of Bread crumbs.
  12. Prepare 1tablespoon of Coriander leaves.

Veg Shammi Kebabs step by step

  1. Soak Black Chana and Chana Dal together for atleast 3 to 4 hours..
  2. Now put this dal into pressure cooker. Along with it goes onions,garlic,ginger. Put little water into it. Don't put much water..
  3. Now put the cover and pressure cook it. Atleast 5 6 whistles..
  4. Now strain the mixture..
  5. Now grind this mixture. Don't add water to it..
  6. Now add all the masalas into it..
  7. Also add bread crumbs and coriander leaves..
  8. Mix the mixture well..
  9. Give the shape of kebabs. And keep it in fridge for half an hour..
  10. Now u can shallow fry these kebabs..
  11. Serve them hot with mint chutney..
